What’s in the Fall Lacrosse Season to Be Excited About?

TEXAS – For a group of young athletes gearing up for the fall, Leverage Lacrosse’s Fall Ball season is shaping up to be more than just another tournament — it’s a chance to level up, bond as a team, and show out on a big stage.

And if the preseason buzz is any indication, players and families alike have a lot to be excited about.

It starts with four lead-up practices designed to sharpen skills, build chemistry, and get everyone locked in before game day. Coaches are setting the tone early — high reps, high energy, high accountability.

“We’re treating this like a launch pad,” said one coach during a recent practice. “Fall Ball isn’t just about playing more games. It’s about turning the dial up on player development and building confidence.”

The competition format will only fuel that fire. A single-elimination playoff bracket brings real stakes — the kind that test grit, focus, and clutch performance. Every rep in practice has a purpose: win when it counts.

But it’s not all business. On Friday night before the tournament, Fast Response Dallas is hosting a team pizza party — and if past events are any sign, it’ll be a night packed with laughs, music, and the kind of memories that make this more than just a sport.

And for Team 2035? They’ll be rolling into the weekend with custom welcome packs and a fresh drop of exclusive team swag.

After each game, standout players will be recognized with the coveted "Ice in My Veins"

Player of the Game award — a nod to those who deliver under pressure, lead with effort, or simply put the team on their back.

One more wrinkle? Trading cards. Real ones.

Leverage Lacrosse is issuing limited-edition player trading cards this fall — a collectible nod to each player’s unique role on the team, and something parents and kids alike will want to hang onto.

Fall Ball in Texas always hits different.

And with this lineup of practices, competition, team bonding, and surprise moments — this year’s version might just raise the bar.
